In a time where alternative music is full of darkened perspectives and sarcastic views of the world, melodic punk rock outfit NEW DEADLINE is heading for a different approach: "With 'To Hope' we literally wanted to raise our glasses to hope. There's a lot of worry-ing and uncertainty in the world today so we wanted to inspire people through hope and positivity," vocalist Jonas Aaltio describes the idea behind the new album. But before anyone raises the 'hippie alarm', the Finnish quartet's new album is nothing but an emotional and passionate statement by an uncompromising upcoming band that has the right feeling for big melodies as well as enough crunch and loudness to make the punk rockers start the pit.
