Die einen kommen zurück fürs Geld, die anderen für den späten Hype. Und dann gibt’s eben Bands wie FIRE IN THE ATTIC – die einfach noch einmal Bock haben. Aufeinander, auf die Songs, auf das, was nie so richtig zu Ende erzählt wurde.
Die Bonner haben ihren Post-Hardcore damals mit ordentlich Punk- und Hardcore-Drive aufgeladen und sich mit EP und vier Alben einen festen Platz zwischen Szenegrößen erspielt. Shows auf großen Bühnen, Touren mit namhaften Bands – das Ding lief. Bis es um 2010 still wurde.
Jetzt, gut 15 Jahre später, ist das Original-Line-up wieder am Start. Nicht aus Kalkül, sondern aus genau dem gleichen Gefühl wie damals:
