TÜSN & Redfield Records announce collaboration

It is with great pleasure that the Berlin indie band TÜSN and the Lower Saxony label Redfield Records announce their collaboration. When TÜSN finally goes on tour again in May, it will also be accompanied by new music.

After the albums “Schuld” (2016, Universal) and “Trendelburg” (2019, TÜSN), TV appearances, tours with bands like HURTS and sets at the country’s biggest festivals, the trio from the capital is reinforcing itself with a new one Label team with which we share the goals but also the mindset, as TÜSN frontman Stefan 'Snöt' Fehling confirms: “We were already looking for a passionate partner who sees our music as art and not as a product a first meeting that we have come to the right place at Redfield.”

Redfield A&R manager Christian Biehl also reports enthusiastically: “As a label that observes the music world and scenes with open eyes and ears, TÜSN has of course been known to us for a long time. Ever since the band took part in a song by the ALEX MOFA GANG last year, we haven't wanted to leave them out of our minds. When TÜSN contacted us a few months ago with the specific question of collaboration, we were of course enthusiastic about the idea straight away.”

Of course, TÜSN's work does not completely escape common categories, but the band does not want to immediately put their own approach into perspective. “Too catchy for aloof art, too eccentric for crude commerce, too free for a hard-line scene,” is how Fehling describes TÜSN’s field of tension. In any case, it is much more important that the mixture is convincing right from the start and inspires in the long term. “Say it directly” and “Say it especially” form a wonderful symbiosis at TÜSN.

“Snöt once explained: 'TÜSN research design errors in coexistence.' A sentence for which you can only love the band and which is to the point, like their music. We are thrilled to be able to publish the status of the research,” concludes Biehl.
