COMBAT JUMP? That's not a name for a band! Any promotion expert would throw his hands over his head. And then this video for the song “Affengeld” from their first EP.

Bananas? Monkeys? Bananas, you monkeys!

You should know better by now, especially when band information is known to only work with superlatives! You may be newcomers, but you are definitely not newbies anymore. After all, there are people from FIRE IN THE ATTIC and Max Schreiber from DAYS IN GRIEF behind KMPFSPRT. David Schumann, former supermodel in Japan and author of THE TOKYO DIARIES, is also involved here. Together, the quartet has already released a dozen records and dragged their equipment to stages large and small for almost 500 concerts.

What does this all mean for KMPFSPRT? It means that everyone here now knows what the music is about. Not about likes and followers, but about the songs. And this is creative new territory for the quartet around bassist Dennis Meyer, because for the first time his brother Richard is singing as the guitar-playing frontman in a band and in German.

COMBAT JUMP? That's not a name for a band. That's the name of THE band. They throw their baggage overboard and are ready for their own superlatives.
