At the beginning of 2020 she finally became self-employed. Her schedule was full - and then became increasingly empty in March. Friederike Köchling has been in the live industry for many years, tour managing artists like Revolverheld and Afrob, worked on the DSDS tour and looks after the artist villages at major festivals like Hurricane and Wacken.

In the Redfield Podcast, the tour manager, known to everyone as “Kike,” explains how she ended up in the music industry, what you can learn from working at galas, for example, and how you can actually take on the tour management of well-known acts.

In addition, she reports very openly about her current situation in the Corona crisis and how her colleagues are currently doing. In this way, Friederike Köchling, as a solo self-employed person, talks about the concerns that are currently affecting her.

In order to draw attention to the situation in the industry, she also took part in the photo campaign “Without art and culture there will be silence”. She tells host Alexander Schröder what she wants to achieve with it and what the reactions were in the Redfield Podcast, which is created in partnership with Ticketmaster.
