Curt Keplin

Curt Keplin started in the music business over 20 years ago as an online fanzine maker and soon moved to the catalog and jazz department of EMI Music and later to V2 Records in Berlin.

There he then worked for Cooperative Music, a marketing and sales company of the V2 Music Group, which was set up globally to support renowned indie labels such as Bella Union and Wichita. During this very formative time for him, he also became Head of Marketing at City Slang, the legendary German indie label owned by Christof Ellinghaus, who became a kind of mentor for him.

After further positions at the label service Kobalt Music, the digital distributor Ditto Music and almost five years of self-employment as a freelancer and artist manager for WhoMadeWho, Curt Keplin has been working as Business Development & Marketing Manager in Germany for the Dutch digital distributor and the tech company since the end of 2020. company FUGA operates.
