TÜSN release their new single “Goodbye” and at the same time announce the “Nothing but love” tour (dates below). At the beginning of 2023, the indie poppers from Berlin will once again demonstrate their undisputed live qualities and introduce the audience to the songs from their new album. “In the end you have nothing left” will be released on January 13th - pre-sales are running in the Redfield Records shop .
If the new TÜSN track “Goodbye” leaves you cold, you should think about your spiritual well-being, because you may never have experienced the band in such a touching way before. When the piece celebrated its live premiere on the last tour in the spring, tears flowed from the audience upon first contact. The melancholy of the music is contrasted by the lightness of the accompanying video clip, which the band produced themselves in the best sunshine by the sea with the support of leading actress Ellen Müller, who has also appeared in previous TÜSN videos.
In “Goodbye” TÜSN singer Snöt describes the experience of how an endlessly used phrase suddenly marks a crucial moment in life and the desire to get together again becomes hopeless:
“Saying goodbye is a phrase that is practiced several times a day. What a variety of gestures and words have developed for this purpose, while the meaning of a farewell is lost in the statistical probability of a reunion. What else could have been said is carelessly postponed to a future or another communication channel. But what if the unforeseen happens? The breakdown of a couple's relationship, or even more so the death of a person, are the moments in which the meaning of a farewell becomes truly tangible. In a dimension that no phrase can do justice to. Every 'goodbye' could be a last one."
