In it’s young history the modern metal band already caught quite some attention on the Net as well as onstage: With the self-released song ‘The Arrival’ and the accompanying video the five musicians from Frankfurt am Main, Germany appeared publically for the first time and next to a lot of positive feedback they were able to play first shows with bands like FIT FOR AN AUTOPSY, NOVELISTS and CARCER CITY. Even the festival summer meant it well with the band and OF COLOURS not only got the chance to play the Traffic Jam Open Air but also the acclaimed Reload Festival after they had confidently won the festivals own newcomer contest.
OF COLOURS are led by lead singer Anne Brendel who has just appeared in the leading role of the ‘Heavy Metal Hörtest’, an advertisement campaign by the German Barmer health insurance (1,5 million views on YouTube alone). In the ad she didn’t only show a frightening good acting performance but also gave a glimpse on her impressive voice. The campaign by one of the biggest German insurance companies was realised by the renowned Agentur Grey Germany.
